Fall is a favorite season for most folks here in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. The leaves, here, turn from shades of green to brilliant reds, yellows, browns and oranges. Each year for the past two years I have created a fall leaves painting from leaves I pick up in the forest near where I live and as far away as the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This year to keep up with the demand, I am painting several fall leaves paintings and the first is complete today. This 2012 Fall Leaves painting is 16"x20" with a deep edge canvas. The deep edge canvas is painted on all 4 sides saving the need to frame the painting should new owner choose. Wouldn't this look nice in your home?
